My Final Post

Throughout this semester I have come to love blogging. It has been such an enjoyable learning experience, and it was something I had always wanted to do. While working on my blog I found that it was a good form of expression, and that it helped me realize that writing is a good stress relief. It also helped me learn more about online tools which I’ve never had much knowledge of. Although I had previously been a user of online social media, I had been terrified of any deeper use of computers, but after taking this class I feel a lot more confident about the things I can use, and the way I can use them. Learning how to properly use social media will help me promote myself is a positive way, which can come in handy when I am trying to get a job. I found that learning how to link, embed slideshows, and upload videos was beneficial for me, because I will now be able to use these things to better my self-promotion online. The many tutorials and videos my teacher made available to us were of great use. Everything I have learned has helped me better my online skills and has boosted my confidence when it comes to digital media. For those of you who are interested in becoming more knowledgable in digital online media I highly recommend taking this class. This will be my final post, because in a matter of hours I will begin my summer vacation! Goodbye & have safe travels this summer!

Slideshow Story: A Story of the Seasons

As a Texan, the only season I experience is summer. So naturally one of the things that attracts me to traveling is getting to experience the other three seasons. I have experienced the white winters of New Mexico, I have seen the beauty of new life during Spring in the vineyards of California, I have been thoroughly burned by the Arizona summer heat, and I have taken peaceful walks through Central Park in fall. Every season is beautiful in its own way, and it’s such a wonderful thing to experience a different season in a different place.

FESTIVALS!

One of the best things about traveling is getting to learn about different cultures. A great way to learn about another culture is to go to one of their festivals. You get to see first hand what the people are like, how they act, the music they listen to, the way they dance, and the foods they eat. In my opinion there is no better way to learn about different people than through their festivals/celebrations. So I have included a list of 20 festivals that you should consider attending.Click here to see! Image

My Travel Guide App

If I were to create an app it would look similar to this. My app would include pictures, prices, and background information on any place you could wish to travel to. The app would also help you compare prices and with travel arrangements. This app would be the ultimate mobile travel agent.  My app would provide all the information a person could need regarding traveling, with everything you need in one place people will live the convenience of this mobile app.

Honeymoon Destination

Bora Bora is my current obsession, it changes weekly. Being by the ocean is one of my favorite things in the world, as well as being on the beach enjoying the hot sun and sand. Bora Bora is a perfect destination for me, it’s beautiful, exotic, and romantic. If I ever get married this would definitely be the place I would go for my honeymoon. ROAD TRIPS

I know some people hate the thought of traveling by vehicle, but that’s not me. I personally love road trips, I love seeing the country side right pass by right before my eyes. I also just love driving, to me it is relaxing and therapeutic even. Especially when you’re driving at night with your best friend while singing along to some kick ass music. That is probably one of my favorite feelings in the world, it’s a feeling a freedom. I’m writing about road trips in honor of the fact that spring break is less than two weeks away and i will be hitting the road to visit my best friend at the beach! This will be my first time traveling alone on a three hour road trip, and so I have been prepping. I have made a check list if necessary items for my adventure, which includes items such as music, snacks, and my phone charger. I know I will not be the only college student headed for the beach so I wish all the others a safe trip and a good time! But I would also like to include a link for my fellow road-trip lovers out there that ya’ll might enjoy. click here to see.
